Fall and Follow Through

Get the most out of your wallpaper.

Step inside and take in the beauty.

Most of us want to create our dream home. Few of us actually can. Luckily, some people just see things, like our interior designer Lina Isaksson. We say our, because she’s dear to us and part of our story, but she’s also very much her own. After nearly twenty years in the wallpaper world, she started her own design studio around the same time we became wallpaper makers.

Lina works with a curated selection of brands, across all the materials a truly cohesive home needs. But we dare say she knows Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik like few others, inside and out. If you fall for one of the wallpapers printed by our Master Printers, Lina knows how to follow through — presenting material and pattern combinations that somehow surprise and feel completely natural all at once.

It simply turns out much better, much faster.

Lina offers home visits, listening carefully to what’s needed and what’s already working. But we also warmly recommend visiting her shop, tucked into a courtyard next to her family’s green villa. It’s a feast for all senses: the crunch of gravel underfoot, the sweep of the eye across beautiful things, the joy of being allowed to touch.

Interior design is a tactile art. Building a moodboard is both sensory and practical, resulting in a beautiful kind of roadmap.

Right now, we’re discussing how Lina’s design service can play a part earlier in new builds, helping overwhelmed homebuilders move past the “let’s just go all white” stage and toward the home they actually want.

We, as you know, believe in color and pattern. In instant crushes and long-lasting loves. In the power of daring. So, if you’re on board in theory but need a little help in practice, a hand to hold, perhaps? Hold Lina’s hand.
