Our unlikely start.

The wallpaper factory, under its previous ownership, was about to be shut down. The decision had been made and the shock was real. Shortly after the news, longtime colleagues Anna and Thomas ran into each other in the color kitchen and both said the same thing: someone has to do something.
As it turned out, that someone was the two of them.
They teamed up with a childhood friend, Ulricehamn-born entrepreneur Håkan Mattsson. He had been considering selling his own IT company and was looking for his next venture — preferably something hands-on, something real.
Håkan’s thoughts and plans for the future had come up in a conversation months earlier, during a boat trip he and Thomas took together.
When the factory’s future suddenly hung in the balance, Thomas remembered the conversation and asked Håkan a simple question: would he consider buying a wallpaper production together with Color Master Thomas and Marketing Coordinator Anna? He would.
The timing could not have been better. Håkan believed in Anna and Thomas, saw potential in an industry ready for renewal, and wanted to do something tangible and positive for his hometown.
For all three, preserving the craft and carrying it forward has always been a matter of the heart. A matter that Anna and Thomas tend to every weekday, year-round, with valued input from Håkan.
